I hold a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction. I also have a certificate in Instructional Design so my skills can be adapted to both educational and corporate environments.I regularly designed learning experiences when I was in the classroom. Over the last several years, I've been designing instructional content and online trainings in my online business. This included training in social emotional learning and growth mindset. I also support entrepreneurs as they design instructional materials and online courses.

Introduction to Time Management
Problem: My customers were looking for time management skills to address feelings of overwhelm.
Solution: This is an adaptation of a time management training I developed for my teacher clients. It has been updated to show what it would look like for a more generalized employee clientele.

Introduction to Social Emotional Learning
Problem: Social Emotional Learning/Emotional Intelligence has become a critical topic since the pandemic. Teachers need a clear understanding of what the competencies of Emotional Intelligence are and clear strategies for teaching it to their students.
Solution: This training serves as an introduction to the topic. It is part of a year-wide plan. This brief introduction would be available throughout the year, following up by virtual or ILT throughout the school year.

The Proactive Mindset
Problem: Mindset is a huge factor in professional and personal growth. This training was built in response to employee overwhelm.
Solution: The training teaches the basic differences in having a proactive and reactive mindset and teaches the learner strategies for addressing overwhelm with a proactive mindset.

Self Awareness Training
Problem: A lack of emotional intelligence in students was impacting classroom instruction and student performance
Solution: This training is part of a series of five ILT trainings that are part of a year-long focus on building social and emotional skills to improve students performance and classroom culture.
This series of trainings is a follow up to the Storyline training shared earlier in this portfolio.
